6/08/06 + 6/09/06 misc pics

Just four in this batch.

1: A typical Chinese park-job:P

2: A wider shot. Some of those other parking jobs don't look all that great either.

3: This is what was on the menu at one of the restaurants we were at. It appears as though you can eat a large turtle for 168 yuan (23.64CAD).

4: My bike! I bought this for around 50 CAD. I'm very happy with it, and I'm keeping it in the building because the rust on the bikes left outside is unbelievable and the bike thefts are through the roof.

6/04/06 Zijingang Campus... again

We went to Zijingang Campus again to look around with our Chinese buddies. Most of us went and played sports at their facilities for the majority of our time there.

1: The cab driver's name. A literal translation is "Small Dog Wang". I could not pass up taking a photo.

2: More propped-up trees in the mail field by the entrance.

3: Some flowers nearby the library.

4: FRUITAGE!!! I must go back and get a better shot sometime.

5: I don't think I know what building is in the background, but I believe I took the picture to show the modern building in the background and all the primitive bicycles in the foreground:P

6: Christine's dirty, filthy hands after a game of volleyball.

7: The badminton birdies here are really different. They actually use birdies with lots of individual... things. Just look at the picture, it's hard to explain.

8, 9: Karine and Jenny on the cab ride back.
