1: Picture of a salamander or whatever that was right outside the campus when we started out for the day. Xie Laoshi's kid thought it was neat.
2: A shot from inside the cab of the hills in the distance.
3: Christine is sleeepy. Either that or she blinked when I took the shot, I can't remember.
4: By the water. There are lots of boats lined up ready to take tourists out.
5: A shot of some of the fancier buoyant tourist traps in the distance.
6: Shot of the West Lake itself with lots of boaters out for the day.
7: We went out in one of these types of boats.
8: A neat tower in the distance
9: This resting area is surrounded by bushes above and below and it provides a great view of the lake.
10: This cameraman was out there filming for some reason. I thought I'd give him a taste of his own medicine.
11: I was immensely disappointed when I saw that having an epic oar battle was forbidden as evinced by the last panel.
12: In the end more of the group went out in a self-piloted boat while the rest of us (including me) went on a guided tour with someone else rowing for us:P
